What is the difference between standard and IMAX?
IMAX theatres have a dome circular and huge plain screens that almost cover the entire theatre and makes you feel like a part of the film. The screen size difference is so much that IMAX screens are six times larger than regular theatre screens.
What’s so special about IMAX?
Unique to IMAX is its huge screen, which is bigger than any other format, up to 40% larger, and it uses an aspect ratio that’s taller than other theaters. With some movies, this means you’re seeing more of the image instead of black bars on the top and bottom of the frame.
